Synopsis
This Kabuki theater production drama deals with political upheaval and intrigue in 18th-century Japan. Lord Asano battles the evil Lord Kira for control of the feudal system. After suffering at the hands of Kira's soldiers, the townsfolk plan a sneak attack on the villainous lord.
