Synopsis
Mahalakshmi falls in love with a city lad, Kishore, but her father arranges her marriage with Dhorababu. Mahalakshmi reveals the truth to Dhorababu on the wedding night and he agrees to help her. Meanwhile, Mahalakshmi's cousin, Rani, falls in love with Dhorababu. Mahalakshmi's father, Ranga Rao, though fixes Rani's marriage with Kishore and there is confusion but finally, sanity prevails and the lovers are settled with their right partners.
