"איך נזכור את "עופרת יצוקה"? למרבית הישראלים עדיין לא ברור מה באמת קרה שם. החל מן האיסור על עיתונאים להכנס לעזה וכלה בסרוב לשתף פעולה עם ועדת גולדסטון. דובר צה"ל אימץ לעצמו את הנחת העבודה לאמור "מינימום מידע, מינימום בקורת". חודשים עברו עלי במרדף בלתי פוסק אחר חיילים שנטלו חלק בלחימה. רבים סרבו להתראיין. עשרה חיילים וקצינים התיישבו אל מול המצלמה חשופי פנים, לראשונה" נורית קידר ('חלום לבנון') מביאה את עדויותיהם המצמררות של חיילים שנטלו חלק במבצע עופרת-יצוקה בעזה. החיילים מגוללים את חוויותיהם בפנים גלויות כשמדי פעם נקטעות העדויות לטובת צילום של נערים טרם גיוסם. אלו 'קורבנות העתיד', הניצבים בדממה במחסן תעשייתי ומתבוננים בתום נכחם. הסרט זכה בציון לשבח בפסטיבל ירושלים 2012.
