Film, birbirine düşman iki ailenin çocukları olan Murat ve Zeynep’in kavuşabilmek için verdikleri mücadeleyi anlatır. Murat ve Zeynep nesillerdir birbirlerine kan davası güden düşman ailelerin çocuklarıdır. Murat, ailesini Zeynep’in babası Selim’den istetir. Bu kan davasının bitmesi gerektiğini düşünen aile, Selim Bey’in yanına gider fakat kovularak geri dönerler. Bu sırada İstanbul’dan gelen Bekir, Zeynep ile evlenmek istemektedir. Selim Bey de Zeynep’i, yeğeni Bekir ile evlendirmek ister. Bunun üzerine Murat, Zeynep’i kaçırır. Uzun süre kaçak yaşayan Zeynep ve Murat sonunda bir köyde izlerini kaybettirir. Fakat bu sefer de hastalık engeliyle karşılaşacaklardır.
