A hazai pályán addig veretlen angol futballválogatottra a kor új csodacsapata megsemmisítő csapást mért Londonban 1953 november 25-én. A magyarok által képviselt új stílus és taktika megváltoztatta a sportágat, attól a naptól kezdve mindenki Puskás Ferenc és társai új futballját akarta játszani. Miközben azonban világszerte csodálták és emlékezték ezt a meccset, idehaza az 1956-os forradalom után a csapat emigráns sztárjainak személye miatt csaknem tabutéma lett a legendás 6:3. A magyar televízió 43 esztendős késéssel vetítette először a meccset, amelynek felvétele kereskedelmi fogalomban még sosem volt megvásárolható, hazavihető, de most, az 55. évfordulón ez a pillanat is eljött. A BBC felvétele a mérkőzés nagy részében élvezhető minőségű, Szepesi György egykor a Magyar Rádióban elhangzott élő kommentárja pedig ma is friss, szakszerű, magával ragadó... A 6:3 felvétele, a Klasszikusok klasszikusa nem hiányozhat többé egyetlen magyar család polcáról sem.
