Synopsis
A concert troupe comes to the front line and there an actress meets the man she was in love with many years ago. Gromov is an ordinary infantry captain, "cannon fodder". He knows that in a few hours an offensive will start and his battalion will be the first to meet the enemy. Captain orders the actors to leave as soon as possible...
