Synopsis
A beautiful, talented, lively and recently-orphaned Anita survives World War II and arrives at her relatives' home. Her uncle and aunt are young, but are heavily bruised from within by the agonising losses they suffered during the war. Struggling to adjust to a warless world, Anita finds herself involved in an ill-fated affair which gives her the strength to make a life-altering decision.
