Synopsis
Filmmaker Kirk Roos details the story of Herro Mustafa, a former Iraqi refugee who fled to the America as a young girl, and beat the odds to become a U.S. Diplomat. As a young Iraqi refugee living in America, Mustafa developed a close friendship with Roos. Thirty years later, she travels to Iraq on official business, and invites her childhood friend along for the journey. An important figure in U.S.\Iraq relations, Mustafa offers unique insight into the relationship between the two nations at a time when tensions between them are at an all time high.
