Synopsis
Tough New York cop Emily Eden is put on the case of a young Hasidic diamond cutter who has gone missing with a fortune in gems. But the apparently open-and-shut case becomes more complicated when his body turns up - minus the diamonds. Emily has to go undercover in the Hasidic community to track down the killer, and experiences events which change her whole life, Witness-style murder mystery with detective Melanie Griffith going undercover to hunt for the murderer of a diamond dealer. As her respect for the Jewish customs and traditions grows so does her attraction towards a young Rabbi, also a suspect.
